You make it sound like Republicans are demanding you go to church or practice religion, which is clearly not the case. On the flip side, you make it sound like all Dems are not religious, which is once again not the case. I think you need to have more of an answer than "the church" for something as absolute as NEVER voting for a particular party.
For instance, if you had to choose between someone like Pelosi and Tancredo in an election, you are saying you'd vote Pelosi strictly because she is not a Republican? That is pure insanity if that is the case.
Maybe you'd be happier with a bunch of Muslims in office so we could all live under sharia law - you'd be more likely to get that voting Dem than Rep.
