Class X misdemeanor

Is there such a thing?, my buddy was saying he got arrested and charged with a class x misdemeanor in College at the U. of Illnois, for pretending that he was humping a traffic cone while wasted. Honestly. I thought they made that charge up because they arrested him out of crowd control and frustration I imagine.

Every state is different. He was probably so wasted that he didn't realize they actually arrested him for being a common streetwalker dressed in drag.

Class X is for Felonies for repeat offenders (Three Strikes stuff)....ones where you have like 30, 50+ year sentances. Regardless of what class the felony is, if its a repeat deal, they all get jumped up to Class X.
