My clippers shit the bed last night... not fun, esp when I only got thru one side of my face... fortunately I was able to smack it and get it to work long enough to clean myself up... anywho...
I currently have a waterproof remington that you can plug in or run off the battery... the battery died and now it's useless even when plugged in. Do you all use models with batteries? Should I just get a corded one and forget taking it into the shower with me? What do you use?

For clippers...which I end up having to get new ones like once a year...I found a norelco with interchangeable heads that actually works really well.

I think the norelco will last that long. I got it at best buy.
All my other norelcos usually lasted 2-3 years until the battery would shit the bed. I tried a remington after that...but I hated it.
Best part was the news ones were only 30 duckets.

I think I spend $20 every other year or so on a new pair. But I'd like to get a nice pair and be done with it.

I have a corded. I just do it before the shower.
And it's reasons like this that I kept my old shaver when I got my new one; I was afraid I would shave half my face and it would die. :uhh:

I came blasting out of our bathroom with nothing but the cape and some undies on yesterday, rocking my temperature. I told G it was my Anti-Sick Cape.

I got out of buying that kind of shit in college....I started shaving my head with those..then a year later I said fook it and went stright to the blade.
beard trimmer/clippers work better and last longer if you get the right brand (not remington)

I've been cutting my own hair for about 10 years now and will probably never stop, so I'm thinking about getting a better set of clippers but those fuckers are expensive. Anybody have any experience with any higher end clippers?

You should have seen the contraption that my dad used to cut my hair with when I was young. Fucking thing was painful.

Dude, mine was worse. I actually did a search for it and here is the fucking torture device (my dad had the nice metal version though)....

Basically you toss a razor blade in the middle of it and comb the hair away. When I was younger I would get a cut about once a month so it was bushy and thick and that thing used to always stuck it my hair. :bigcry:
