Why, so we can get the atheists to try and convert the God fearing people or vice versa? Why not just go ahead and make an "Abortion vs Anti-abortion" thread while we are at it.

Everything need not be an argument. Why not comment on some of his theories? he makes some very valid points. Maybe that is the problem.

why do you insist on debating people of faith? I don't understand that... unless you're looking for an answer you haven't found for yourself.

Maybe because to me it is so obvious that ...oh nevermind. I'll drop it.

Nazis and Communists make valid points too, but it does not mean much.

Bottom line is that I have made it clear that I think religion is a very personal thing and would rather not debate the topic in general. Objective issues like the US not enforcing its own border laws is something I would much rather debate, for instance.

Dear Killer,

As soon as your daughter brings home a nigger, you will be praying for a god.

No, remember I don't believe in the invisable man in the sky. And actually even if she did i would have to just hope he was a decent bleck. If there is such a thing. ;)

Sometimes you just have to realize some things are beyond your control.:fruit:

I honestly don't know how to respond to this.

I think many people find comfort, as it was said, in believing that (some) things might be in someone elses control. While it may not be true, I don't see anything wrong about living in such a state.

I find it strange how the author perceived atheism as a better state of mind, even if it provides people with less happyness. :sqnteek: :dunno:

Personally I think as long as your religion insn't crawling down my throat and is making you happy - I'm fine with it. I also am very comfortable being crazy, if crazy makes me happy. :dunno:
