Get the ps3 in late 2008, that's when GT5 is supposed to come out. :dunno: The price will probably dip to 300-400 by then.

Gears of War is a must if you like shooters. Oblivion is a must if you like RPGs (though you can get that on the PC, and the 360 is definitely not the platform for RPG players)

ok i'll look at the Gears of War... how's Call of Duty 3?

I got few questions, my buddy has older Xbox so can I play live with him if I have newer Call of Duty 3 for 360 or do I have to buy older xbox COD3?

I have COD 3 ... I could probably do without it. It's not bad, I don't think ... it's just that I had pretty much written off the shooter genre as a whole until I played Gears, and now other shooters look that much worse!

I doubt the 360 version can play against the Xbox version, but I don't know that for sure.

Both, actually. I hate ranked matches because you get disconnected as soon as one game is over. :fruit:

So I usually do player matches. I like coop for the fun factor in clearing high density tango's on realistic difficulty level. :wired:

I played ranked matches a few times and it does suck that they force you to quit the game. Coop is fun if you have the same crew of guys.

Well, I have a PS3...but, that's only cuz I got it for $100CDN (gotta love Sony Mastercard points). :)

That being said, there's really nothing out for the PS3 that's really a killer app yet...the better games are on the 360. And even arguably the Wii (which you're not considering).

I'd get the 360 at this point. But, based on what the PS3 will have out later on down the road, I'd pick the Sony for long-term...? :dunno:
